Tour includes narration of history, geology, flora and fauna, the people, with plenty of photo opportunities. The first stop in Yosemite National Park will be the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias, the largest living things on earth. We’ll then drive by the Historic Wawona Hotel and Pioneer Living History Center. Next is a stop at Tunnel View to take in the view of Half Dome, Bridal Veil Fall and El Capitan. We’ll stop at Bridal Veil Fall for a short walk to the base of the Fall before touring Yosemite Valley Floor where you’ll lunch on your own. Before leaving the Valley Floor we’ll look for climbers on El Capitan. From there it’s up to Washburn Point for the panoramic view of the Sierra Nevada Range, Vernal, Nevada and Illouette Falls. A short drive will take us to Glacier Point where you look down 3200’ into the Valley Floor. Tour with a small group at your pace. Tour time is approximately 8-9 hours, during which you travel approximately 150 miles. Our goal is to bring you back “pleasantly worn out”.
